School Nurses Organization of Arizona
This conference will offer professional development opportunities provided by experts and colleagues to prepare us for the future of school health services. Opportunities to network with other school health professionals, state, local community organizations and vendors providing new and innovative resources for supporting health services. Sessions will support student health needs and your ability to identify, assess and implement care. Topics include: diabetic updates, communicable diseases/rashes, heat related illness, head injuries and drug impairment assessments, presentation by specialist in their fields and more. Day Two provides opportunities to learn about De-escalation: a systems approach, MTSS, Handling Mental Health Issues, diverse populations and mindfulness. It will be a great event!
